About me

Hello! My name is Jerry Harney and I am puppeteer, puppet builder and filmmaker.  In 2021, I graduated Montclair State University in New Jersey, with a BFA in filmmaking where I incorporated puppetry into much of my work. There I had the opportunity to write and direct my senior thesis entitled, Imagination Station, which has gone onto play multiple film festivals as well as receiving an award for screenwriting.I am now currently getting my MFA degree in Puppet Arts at the University of Connecticut, furthering my knowledge and skill in the art of puppetry.
